Sales & Marketing Representatives
DATAIR Employee Benefit Systems, Inc.

DATAIR Employee Benefit Systems, Inc., a leading provider of Retirement Plan Administration Software to Third Party Administrators since 1967, is looking for a candidate with sales and Defined Contribution/Defined Benefit administration experience to become a valuable member of our sales and marketing team.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate sales and generate leads
  • Provide demonstrations of products and services to current and potential clients
  • Foster relationships with clients to maintain customer satisfaction
  • Respond to sales inquiries and concerns
  • Engage in retirement and pension conversations with clients and leads
  • Monitor competitors, market conditions, and product development
  • Supervise the Exhibit Booth at industry trade shows
  • Manage sales and marketing projects
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Retirement plan administration and sales experience
  • Knowledge of DATAIR systems
  • Computer and technology skills including Microsoft Office suite
 


IT Specialist/Coordinator
DATAIR Employee Benefit Systems, Inc.

We are looking for an IT Specialist/Coordinator to assist in operating the IT services and support within our company. Be part of developing, implementing, managing, and supporting our network and systems. Help optimize the functionality of systems, networks, security, and data. Provide technical assistance and an efficient work environment for our staff.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Communicate and plan software migrations to our new Azure Cloud infrastructure
  • Design and generate reports as requested
  • Provide technical advice and assistance to office staff as needed
  • Assist other staff in special events and activities as required
  • Monitor and optimize the performance, security, backup, and recovery of our SQL databases
  • Provide internal IT support (server security, software updates, hardware maintenance, etc.)
  • Research, design, and implement the appropriate technologies to support and improve corporate communications, access to information, and end-user productivity
  • Conduct capacity planning for network bandwidth, storage requirements, messaging, websites, and other applications
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Skills/Qualifications/Preferences:
  • A technical degree or certification in Information Technology or equivalent skill gained through experience coupled with 2+ years of experience in systems (hardware and software)
  • Practical experience in IT is a plus
  • Knowledge of IT principles, concepts, and methods; systems testing and evaluation principles, methods, and tools; IT security principles and methods; Internet technologies; and/or emerging information technologies
  • Experience and familiarity with multiple web browsers, OS platforms, software procurement and updates, user management, and SaaS administration (Microsoft Azure)
 


Software Engineer/Web Developer
DATAIR Employee Benefit Systems, Inc.

We are looking for a Software Engineer/Web Developer to assist in building our next generation of software products. Be part of designing, developing, and implementing our new web application.

Skills:

  • Microsoft ASP.NET Core 5 MVC or higher and Razor Forms, Dapper a plus
  • C# Experience a plus
  • Entity Framework
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Microsoft Visual Studio
  • JavaScript / JQuery
  • Building Web APIs
  • Azure experience
  • Knowledge of third-party components, such as DevExpress or Telerik

Document Attorney for Pension Software
DATAIR Employee Benefit Systems, Inc.

Description:
DATAIR is looking for a full-time document attorney for designing, drafting and providing support for our retirement documents and health & welfare documents. This position will lead a Customer Support team to ensure that high quality documents are updated timely. The position does include assisting the team and the clients with the system and the various document completion.

Come work in our fun and engaging atmosphere. Our office is in the Chicago area with remote work considered for the right candidate.

We are currently looking for a variety of people including those that are newer to retirement plans and those that have seasoned experience. Join the company providing support for our wide range of benefit software systems.

Duties:
  • Draft mass submitter documents, amendments, notices, and forms
  • Provide support and guidance on using DATAIR software to customers
  • Assist the customers with their incoming questions and issues
  • Contribute software design ideas to better meet the needs of our large and diverse customer base
  • Document and test changes to software as they pertain to retirement & benefit plans
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Previous document drafting experience for retirement plans.
  • A working experience with a wide variety of retirement plans gained in a TPA-type environment.
  • Understanding & knowledge of the Internal Revenue Code, Department of Labor, and other regulations as they apply to retirement & benefit plans for compliance testing, government reporting, plan design, and plan document interpretation.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and keep up to date with laws and regulations.
Skills/Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years in the retirement & benefits plan industry with a focus on Defined Contribution or Defined Benefit Plan Administration
  • Professional Designations with ASPPA and/or NIPA a plus
  • Strong focus on customer service
  • Ability to analyze, research, and solve problems quickly
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Works independently as well as in a team environment
  • Organized with exemplary project management and time management skills
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and proficient computer skills
  • Experience with DATAIR software preferred
 

Customer Support for Pension Software
DATAIR Employee Benefit Systems, Inc.

Description:
DATAIR is looking for an awesome full-time Customer Support person. Do you like helping people and solving issues? Do you know your admin “stuff” or are working on learning it? DATAIR is looking to expand our support staff with someone that likes the challenge of not falling asleep while reading ERISA, IRS, and DOL rules and regulations.

  • Ability to read, interpret, and keep up to date with laws and regulations.

All positions offer a salary commensurate with experience.  Sales positions include commissions and bonus structure in addition to salary, and require periodic travel for trade shows.
