provides a wealth of ERISA plan information from looking up EINs to viewing
5500 filings.
The Pension
Inspector is an excellent site for ERISA Data Mining. Included in the online
ERISA PLUS DASHBOARD screen are up to 14 year complete Retirement and Welfare
Form 5500 downloads, Key Summary 5 Year Reports, Investment, Expense Performance
Rankings, and Alerts for each Plan Year, plus, Plan and Sponsor Litigation
results and much more. A CPA ERISA Plan Audit Worksheet and Verification Report
is available. (Free and subscription-based services)
The American
Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA) web site contains information about the
organizations conferences, educational services, and other activities.
Employee Benefits Institute of America (EBIA) is widely considered the
authority for Fringe and Welfare plan information. In addition to a free
weekly newsletter, EBIA also offers subscriptions to a series of (really thick)
manuals as well as seminars conducted throughout the country. Highly
recommended.
Looking for information about the Society
of Actuaries? In addition to information about the organization, this site
also hosts on-line discussion forums.
The National Institute of Pension Administrator,
NIPA,
also has a web site. For those in the Chicagoland area, also visit the
NIPA Great Lakes Study Group web site.
SHRM Online
operated by the Society of Human
Resource Professionals contains news and information of interest to HR
professionals including the Society's HR Magazine and HR News. Also has some

non-profit organization's services and activities as well as a number of links
