When I call DATAIR support, who should I ask for?

It's best not to ask for a particular person, unless your question relates to a specific, ongoing situation that that person has been working on with you. If you simply tell the receptionist about your question, she or he will give your call to the first available support person with the proper expertise. There is almost always at least one person available, so you can generally get an answer right away. If you ask for a specific support person, there’s a significant chance that person will be unavailable. Then you will have to leave a message. And there is a significant chance that person will not be able to get back to you within two hours. Even worse, you may be starting a round of “phone tag.” So, don't ask for Bob just because he answered your question last week. If this week's question is different than last week's then Alice may be better qualified to answer it anyway.
