Do I need to use UPPER CASE on my 2000 EFAST forms?
No. (or no, NO, or nO) While it is accurate that the 2000 guidelines specify upper case should be used, your data is converted to upper case when scanned by EFAST. We made a change in PR 1.06 that converts the data to upper case when printed to more fully comply with this specification. There is no need to change the data on your forms to upper case.
Per our discussion with EFAST on 5/7/2001, using mixed-case or lower-case WILL NOT cause your forms to rejected.
